This blog is about the most important lesson I have learned from Clay Aiken. Since January 12, 2010, we have been reading about Haiti, which has been devastated by an Earthquake measuring 7.0 in magnitude. Tens of thousands (actually it's more than likely hundreds of thousands) of people are dead and millions are in need of assistance in the form of food, water, medicine, medical attention.
So the most important lesson I've learned from Clay Aiken? Through his Ambassadorship with UNICEF, I have learned to give when I can and what I can. Early on in my journey, it would sometimes take a gentle reminder from Clay to draw my attention to an area of the world in need. Not any more. I am now following Clay's example and rather than him asking me to donate, I'm just donating - because it's the right thing to do. As citizens of this world, we need to take care of each other - Clay Aiken has opened my eyes to that.
How can you help? Please read over at The Clay Nation News Network together, we can make a difference.

Sue, we have all learned many lessons from Clay Aiken. Giving from our hearts is indeed one of the most important! I know the ClayNation can follow Clay's lead and make a difference.
Thank you for this wonderful post. Clay Aiken has taught us so many things and one of the most important is compassion!!
If every Clay fan gave just a little, we could make a huge difference.
Thank you Sue! Thank you Clay!
Thanks Sue for this wonderful blog! The ClayNation working together can make a huge difference.
Yes, Clay has taught us well.... Giving without hesitation to those that need it.
Sue, wonderful blog. I went over to CANN, joined the team and made a small donation.
Clay certainly has brought the humanitarian out of all of us. We have such a magnificent example to follow and follow we will.
Through Clay's many examples over the years, I think he has taught as all to stop and reevaluate what really matters in our lives. Instead of being a ME world, we need to reach out to one another. It's all about Love, love, love.
Thanks for the great blog. I hope many will see it and make a donation if they can. I already made a donation a day or two before this link was posted, but I may go back later and make another donation thru the link you posted.
Sue your blog is so sweet and moving. In fact Clay has left us many lessons on as making a great difference. I hope many people help how they can

SueReu,
It's amazing how much Clay Aiken has influenced his fans about what is really important in life. Thank you for a wonderful blog, very moving montage, and successful fundraising project for the people of Haiti.
Thank you, too, for your kind remarks in the Carolina blog.
Have a great week!
Caro
Clay has taught me so much about what is important in life too, Caro. Thanks Sue for everything you are doing for UNICEF and for your great montages!
Sweet blog. I have given to Unicef for decades. I am so proud of Clay and what he has accomplished as an ambassador for them.
Clay Aiken is always the teacher and we all can learn from him.
Charity and children have always been close to Clay's heart. Love a man who gives of himself for those less fortunate.
Clay Aiken never stops being a teacher, I am proud that people have donated to the fund raiser for Haiti.
Thanks Sue for your wonderful blog! I am brought to mind of a scripture: It's more better to give than to receive!!! Clay has a heart of compassion..and he gives from the heart! He is an inspiration to so many..
