Clay is by far the most talented singer off of American Idol. He is successful and happy and doesn't rely on AI for anything.

Thanks for this timely blog!!

Clay Aiken is the best thing that ever happened to American Idol!! Without a charismatic supertalent like Clay on the show, it would have ended years ago.

American Idols's days are numbered now, since they have totally jumped the shark, trying to pass off seasoned professionals as contestants. And making the program more about the judges than the performers.

Hooray for Clay performing with David Foster tomorrow night! Can't wait to hear all the details.

The measure of a true artist is one who can stand alone without using AI as a crutch for their career. Clay Aiken is that kind of artist. He has had a superb career in many areas of the entertainment industry. He does not need to keep going back to idol to keep his career going or to sell CDs. Some past idol contestants are still relying on AI to keep their careers going. What will they do once idol is done.

Sue, thanks for the blog. I can't wait to hear about this special night. David Foster is such a class act. I wish I was going to Vegas.

I wish I could be in Vegas to see Clay Aiken perform in person. He is a class act and a wonderful performer! I hope those of you who are able to go have a wonderful time. I know you will and we'll be anxiously waiting for reports!

Clay Aiken and David Foster are a wonderful combination! Their past collaborations have been great, and I know they'll be working magic again tomorrow night.

Clay Aiken's success will be his by determining his own career path. Since AI/RCA/19 wanted to cast aspersions on him because he was his own man, they are being petty. He'll walk his way.

Clay Aiken in Vegas! How exciting!

Glad to see Clay Aiken is appearing with David Foster!!

Hope all who are in Vegas have great fun and hear Clay Aiken sing.

Clay Aiken from 2003 to 2009
STILL STANDING with his integrity intact.

Sure wish I were one of the lucky ones going to Vegas.

Clay really earned quite an honor, being asked to be part of this all-star lineup.

Clay Aiken is a successs and this is great for him to appear with David.

Bravo Clay Aiken! With all the pettiness slung his way, his integrity remains intact.

Looks like someone holds a grudge against him for doing things his way - too bad for them as it makes them look small and jealous.

Clay talks the talk and walks the walk. And he has more integrity in his little finger than all of his detractors piled together.

I am so proud to call myself a fan of this man.

I wish I could be in the audience of the Mandalay Bay tomorrow night to see him perform with all the other greats that will be there. I have no doubt he'll deliver a stellar performance.

Clay Aiken is an amazing singer. Wish I could see him in Las Vegas tomorrow.

I'm glad Clay Aiken is not still tied to AI. A good artist breaks out on his own, and that is what Clay has done.

Even after all these years, I'm still amazed by how much misinformation has been spread about Clay Aiken. He has a lot of friends in LA, and many of them are still at AI. I'm sure if he ever did go back for a visit, he would be very welcomed.

I just love Clay Aiken. He is going to blow the roof off the Mandalay Bay tomorrow night!

Clay Aiken in Las Vegas. He joins so many legendary entertainers who have graced the stages in LV over the years. He is right up there with all those mega talented artists.

Clay Aiken can sing anything and it would be fun to hear something different and new, but I'd think it might be Lover All Alone as one.

Clay Aiken is the finest singer AI ever found. He's an independent guy who knows where he belongs in the entertainment industry, and being a puppet for Idol's corporate interests at the expense of his own image and integrity is not it. He's a megatalented guy and is a joy to watch on stage. Smart too. Looking forward to seeing him on 30Rock next week. He is also hysterically funny. Can't wait till he tours again.

Finally the night has arrived that Clay Aiken appears in the David Foster and Friends concert! I can't wait to get reports!

Ok, just stoppit! He is just way too hunky looking in that picture up there!

And he looked pretty dang at that David Foster thing too!

Where he also sang very, very pretty.
