An Affair to Remember - With Clay Aiken No Less!

We're coming up quickly to Clay Aiken's 2008 Champions of Change Gala. Well, maybe not CLAY'S Gala, but The Bubel/Aiken Foundation's Gala!

This years honorees are a diverse group but they have one thing in common - an inclusive world, where special needs children interact and learn from typically developing children (or maybe it's the typically developing children interact and learn from special needs children). To read more about this year's honorees visit The Bubel/Aiken website at TBAF News

This should be an amazing evening - including auctions and entertainment! For a list of auction items, visit The Bubel/Aiken website at TBAF Gala Auction (sniff, I want that Carolina Hurricanes Jersey - like LOTS!!!)

Finally, here's a clip preview from "Including Samuel" - a documentary film by Champions of Change honorees Dan Habib and Betsy McNamara.

Thank you for adding the video. That is the first time I could just sit down and really watch it.
Everyone needs to see it.
Yes katy, Clay has "done good" with TBAF!

Thanks for the info regarding the Bubel Aiken Foundation Gala and for the clip from "Including Samuel". Inclusion is a very good cause and one I support wholeheartedly.

An Affair to Remember, now that can have a whole lot of meaning, LOL.

For this BAF Gala reminder it works perfectly. Thank you, sure wish I could be there! I hope it's the most successful one yet.

Thx too for the Including Samuel video, and everything you do :)

I wish I could go but all I can do is help make people aware.

Thanks for reminding everyone of TBAF Gala coming up next weekend.

One thing is for sure - Clay Aiken talks the talk and walks the walk for these children. I wish the press would focus more on his humanitarian works than aspects of his personal life.

I am proud to be a fan of this incredibly gifted and generous man.

What a wonderful video! All the families and educators are such inspirations. We need more openminded and dedicated people like them.

I too wish I could attend the Gala, but I know that those who are going will carry the spirit and love of those us not able to attend.

Is it too much to wish that the media give this Gala and the cause of inclusion more press than it did for Clay recently?

I imagine bags are being packed to head to Raleigh. I nearly went to buy a lottery ticket, then remembered reading quite awhile ago the Gala tables were sold out. Oh well.

Thank you for your delightful comments to my entries. I love seeing you there. :)
